Sing-A-Ma-Jigs Review: Possibly The Hottest Toy For 2011?

Sing-a-ma-jigs are the newest toys released by Mattel. These toys were one of the hottest toys for Christmas and are set to sell in huge numbers in 2011. You can find them in a variety of different characters and they are going to be interactive, but also musical.

What is a Sing-A-Ma-Jig?

Fisher-Price’s Sing-a-ma-jig is a cute, but crazy character with a unique look. Each character will have their own unique voice and their own song. If your child squeezes it, they will hear it sing.

Though you can purchase just one, it is a lot more fun to purchase more than one and hear them sing together.  Each sing-a-ma-jig carries their own tune and pitch, which means no character, will sound the same.  No matter how many you have singing together, they will sing together perfectly.

You can purchase numerous characters such as:

Some of the songs you will hear by the sing-a-ma-jig characters are:  “Home on the Range”, “Skip to My Loo”, “Where Oh Where Has My Little Dog Gone”, and “When the Saints Go Marching In”.  These are classic songs that are great for your children to learn.

Even though each character looks different, they will have their own voices, sweaters, and the ability to sing their songs.

Each character will have different modes of play:  chatter mode, singing, and a harmonizing mode.  If your character is in chatter mode, they will speak in their own language, which will usually sound like jabber.  Your child will need to squeeze your character in order to get it to sing.  Your child can control the tempo of its character.  You can only use the harmonizing mode when you have more than one character singing at a time.

These characters do not just sing.  They will also make cute and adorable companions for your child to carry around with them.

These toys are different from your average character toy. Each character will have its own personality and style as well as singing voice. This is a reason they are great for children to collect, but just one is more than enough as well.

If your child is younger in age, they may find it difficult to squeeze the toy in order to get it to sing. The other issue with the toys is that you cannot control the volume they sing at. No matter what, kids will enjoy these toys.
